Goodbyes and popsicles

Goodbyes. I don't like them. I wish that everyone that I love could all just live in Juneau. So many sweet friends have moved on.. the Bruce's, the Ryan's, the Myskowski's, and now the Winder's. It is hard to say goodbye, knowing that I don't write like I should, I certainly don't call.. but I do miss you all. I'm so glad that we will all be in Heaven together! Don't even get me started on family that aren't here, I want my Tim and katie to live here. And Dad. And Shelly.

Anyway, I took a few pictures today to add to my collection. I would have taken more, but my back was hurting me terribly. Thank goodness for a sweet husband who is letting me just sit in my Teri Bruce chair and attempt to heal.

David and Caleb

So I guess it was inevitable... David and Caleb each got tattoos this past week. Not just a little one to begin with, they are both huge. And they're not even finished! They each need to have color added. hmm. I suppose I'm getting used to it since so many people have them now, I used to think it was yucky, now I kinda like it. I really like the one Hannah just got, and I must admit, I'm sorta thinking about it. Probably won't do it, cuz what would I get? And it's forever.
Anyway, here are the pictures.

David's fashion sense

Ok, so my David has this amazing way of pulling off just about anything. He got 2 packages in the mail today with more of his internet finds. He always makes me laugh.

Easter

These are some pictures I took last Sunday after our Easter dinner. We had a nice dinner, although Larry and Kelly couldn't be here. Ham, twice baked potatoes ( they were fun to make this time, no splitting skins and Ken helped), corn, one of Miriah's amazing salads and carrot cake. Yum. I do love having family dinners, we just don't do them often enough.

Our appraisal is this Thursday at noon, I sure hope it all goes well. I just took some more pictues of David, I'm gonna post them next. This first pic is David and Adam.

Ok, so why take a picture of a sandwich? Well, it was yummy, that's why! Sourdough bread, mustard, pastrami, avacado, tomato, and sprouts.
I finally got to hold Ezra, he's so sweet.
Felix taking a nap before church.. Hannah just laid this big pillow on the floor... he's so adorable.

And it begins

So I am now officially back in picture taking mode. I took my camera with me to church last night, and the stalking has begun.
See:

Kayleigh Winders. Such a cutie! I still can't believe that Angela and Jason are moving. :-( Angela is the sweetest lady, I will miss you greatly. In this picture Kayleigh is chewing UP her food. :-)))
Our own Auntie Morgan.. she loves all the babies, and all the babies love her.
Okay, so here is when the stalking begins. What is it about Hoshide babies?????? Oh, Tim and Chris? You don't know about me and my camera, but you will learn. ;-)))

happiness is:

Happiness. It comes in many forms.. here is one:
Karla and David are engaged! Yay! Hurray! I'm so happy for both of them, they are so much in love and just the cutest couple. And hey, I'm gonna be related to the Nashes! Now if I could just get a granddaughter to marry a Hoshide boy....... :-)))))

Two:
A great church family, a loving Pastor, and great worship music. Oh, and babies at church.
Karla and Ezra Saturday at our ladies breakfast. Won't she make a great Mom???

Three:
New siding and windows on my house! We are refinancing our house, so decided that we should finally get some projects finished. MUCH HAPPINESS! Steve took the week off from work to get as much done as possible, he's finding that it takes much longer than he thought to get stuff done. Isn't it always that way? We sure made a mess in our front yard, see? And these are some of our helpers: Al, Jacob, Brian Felix, Erik and Jacob.

Four:
David has a job, and it's making coffee again. This time at Heritage downtown. Ya'll should go get some from him, he makes a great cup.
Five:
big surprise here..... yarn. I got some really gorgeous new yarns, and I'm sitting here deciding on what they want to become. I do love knitting. And oogling yarn.
Six:
When my dad calls me on Sunday afternoons. I miss you Dad, I love you
