Catching up

Well.  I certainly do forget to update my blog.  :-)  Seems if I don't have new pics to show, I don't say anything.  :-)
Anyway.  I have been knitting sporadically.  I smashed my finger in my car, so knitting was out for awhile;  I thought it was better, but then when I started knitting again, nope.  Not better.  Oh, and after about 2 weeks, I hit it again.  Definitely not better.  hahaha.  My body has been doing it's weird things again.. and I was told by another doctor that I was a puzzle.  So I have been told:  Janet, you are really odd.  I am strange, I am perplexing.  I am unique, I am weird.   Needless to say, I am undiagnosed.  That's ok.  Someday I might figure it all out.  Until then, I cope.  And knit.  :-))

Holey Moley.  I just realized I didn't post any pics from Easter or Eleanor's birthday!  What is up with that?  Could it be that I took over 500 pics between those 2 days?  ha.

My sweet K K, Kelly cat died the day before Easter.  I will miss you always.

I decided to join in 2 fun knitting groups on Ravelry: the Harry Potter House cup and Nerd Wars.  I love them both!  I am also knitting for 2 swaps, and that makes me very nervous... you know performance based acceptance. :-)

Today the sun has popped out for a bit; I am SO VERY TIRED of the rainy weather.  I usually don't mind it, but boy oh boy I have had enough.    I mean, our irises aren't even getting ready to bloom.  Steve has planted some flowers in our room, ( he has plants growing in 2 rooms now ;-) ) and picks me some new ones everyday to have by my chair.  Isn't he sweet??

Anyway.  onto pics:  ( they are gonna be just random from Easter, Karla's visit, El's birthday and stuff.)

My boy.  He graduated!  He is home for a few months, then off again.  I am so very proud of him.

A perfectly sunny day

Today was such a beautiful day.  A bit chilly, but it was too perfect to stay inside.
On my way to work I went to the post office as usual, then just had to stop at Auke Bay for a mini walk and photo shoot.  I didn't have a jacket, but I wasn't cold.  I was just too happy to be outside in the sun.  I only saw 2 people, so it was almost like the docks were all mine.  Oh, and I did see a boat I wanted... it was only $347,000.  YIKES.
haha.
Pics?  Oh, and why do I even ask if you (my one or two readers) want to see pics?  I am going to post them either way.  :-)

My girls

My girls. I always wanted to say that, I always wanted little girls of my own.  God saw that I needed to raise boys.  I have 4 wonderful sons that I would never change for any little girls in all the world.
God saw fit to give me granddaughters.  ahh.  Life is very good.  Life can be rough, it can be unpredictable, it can be funny. It can be quite hard.  Life with God is the only way to go.  He is my strength, my hope.

This started out to be just about my girls.  Now it is about my Lord.  I want to live the rest of my life as He would have it.  To be a great God fearing woman for my sons, for my girls, for my other grandkids to be.

My girls are both sick with a nasty virus; I am praying they heal quickly, I want to play.
Pics?
