2009

January 2009. And it's the 9th already! Time really does fly by.
We've been having a very snowy cold month, and it's just beautiful outside. It has been way below zero a lot, and many people have had frozen pipes. We had one somewhere, and it took Steve 2 days to fix it.. we flooded our basement, and the dining room floor. But now we have 2 new heat registers in the dining room, so when the furnace does come on, it will be much warmer. We've been having burn bans on a regular basis, so the broken pipe was a blessing in disguise. I just watched the weather channel, and they say it could turn to rain sometime next week. ugh. I really hope they're wrong, it will be quite the mess.

I finally finished the baby blanket I've been knitting for Hannah and Bryan's new baby, now we're all just waiting for little Felix to come on out. Christine is due in March, and I just ordered the yarn to make her a dark blue blanket...I hope I can knit a bit faster this time.
I sure would like a grandchild of my own....... can you imagine how many things I will knit for him/her?
Speaking of knitting... I found the most wonderful site and I love the name too: "Eat sleep knit". The yarns are beautiful, and well priced. Yay.
Anyway, I actually don't have any pictures to add right now, I'll put some up later.
