This past week

My beautiful Auke Bay:

My life doesn't ususally change much, that's good and bad. I love the fun surprising good changes, but don't like bad ones. Who does? I've pretty much been spending the month of May sitting in my chair due to some herniated discs in my back. The good thing about that is I haven't been tired! The bad thing is it shows me that Joanna and Steve were right.... if I want my adrenals and thyroid to heal, I have to do nothing. How is that even possible??? I started feeling better over the weekend, so began cooking and picking up again, and had to cook for church this week too. Boy, I got tired and my temperature plumeted. ugh. I want to be the way I used to be, I want a nice clean house and to be able to cook and bake whenever I want. Oh, and my cat thinks she can pee on my carpet or clothes whenever one of the other cats have used the litter box. She won't share. BIG UGH. I have to get rid of her, but who will want a 10yr old cat who doesn't like other cats???? whine whine. Enough already.

Fun topics:
Miriah turned 21! I got to make her a cake and spend a little time with her. She is really great and I love her.

It's been sunny!! Steve and I went to Hot Bite last Wednesday and then walked on the docks. See:

I got more yarn and a wonderful new purse/knitting bag. I'm gonna make a sweater with the dark brown yarn, a shawl, and some various scarves, fingerless mits, and socks with the rest. My new purse is the olive green bit in the right corner. Namaste laguna.

The flowers are blooming at the Calvary house.. ( we are gonna plant some in our yard next weekend)

I finally finished Tim and Chris's baby blanket for Ezra: They liked it too. :-) I want to get a picture of Ezra wrapped in it.

Our appraisal on our house came back way better than we thought, and it will all be refinanced next week. Yay! The siding is up, some of the mess outside is picked up, but we still have more to do. We're gonna paint our front door red, and of course plant some flowers and shrubs. More yay! My kitchen cabinets look great, Steve did a fantastic job on them. I will post a picture of them later. For Mother's Day, Steve and I went downtown to walk around a bit, have some lunch and see the new Wolverine movie. Jacob had a nice frame with 3 of his pictures waiting in my room after church, and David bought me some yarn. Tim and Katie sent me a card and a cookie (yum), and Erik and Miriah bought me a lovely hanging basket. It was such a nice afternoon.
